Questions people ask

What is a Bible reading plan for a specific need?

It is a short, structured journey of real Scripture chosen for what you are facing, a few days or weeks of passages on anxiety, grief, hope, a new season, and more. Each day gives you a genuine reading and a short reflection, so the Bible meets you where you actually are.

How long do these reading plans take?

Most need and life-stage plans are about a week of short daily readings, ten to fifteen minutes a day. The goal plans, like the Gospels in 30 days or Proverbs in 31 days, run longer but stay light. You can go at any pace; the plan serves you, not the other way around.

What if I miss a day?

Missing a day is normal and it is not a sin. There is no scorecard in heaven. Simply begin again where you left off. The goal was never to finish a list but to meet Jesus in His Word.

Do I need the app to follow a plan?

No. You can read any of these plans in any Bible. The Living Bread app simply makes it easier: it carries the whole Bible, opens each day's passage for you, and lets you read alongside a family who is reading too.
