How we work
Editorial & content policy
The Living Bread aims to be a trustworthy, Christ-centered source of Scripture, prayer, and honest answers. Here is how our content is made, sourced, and corrected.
Who publishes this
All content is published by The Living Bread, a free, non-denominational Christian community and prayer platform. Contact: hello@living-bread.org. See About and What we believe.
How Scripture is sourced
Scripture on our public pages is the King James Version (public domain), always cited with its reference. Inside the app the default is the New International Version. We never mix translations silently, and we identify the translation on every quotation.
Our theological approach
We write from mere Christianity: Scripture-first, warm, and non-denominational. Where Christian traditions genuinely differ, we aim to describe the difference rather than flatten it, and we distinguish the plain text of Scripture from interpretation.
How we use AI
Some content and translations are AI-assisted, then held to a human, Scripture-grounded standard before publishing. Our companion, Simon, is clearly labeled AI, can be wrong, is not clergy or a counselor, and speaks with no divine authority. Test everything against Scripture. Our honest answers are written to be accurate and citable.
Accuracy & corrections
We ground claims in Scripture and cite our sources. If something here is wrong, tell us at hello@living-bread.org and we will correct it. Substantive corrections are dated; we do not manipulate timestamps to fake freshness.
Community contributions
Prayers and testimonies shared by the community are moderated and only ever made public with the author’s explicit consent. Private prayers and messages are never published.
