What we believe
What We Believe
The Living Bread stands on the historic, shared faith of all Christians, the good news of Jesus Christ. We are not a denomination and we take no denominational side. We gather the whole body of Christ around Him.
These are the central truths Christians have confessed together for two thousand years, drawn from Scripture and echoed in the Apostles and Nicene Creeds. On these we stand; on the many honest differences between Christian traditions, we make room, and we point always to Jesus.
God
We believe in one God, eternal in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who made all things and holds all things together.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man, born of the virgin Mary, crucified for our sins, risen bodily from the dead, ascended, and coming again.
The gospel
We believe salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ, not earned by our works, so that no one can boast.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit lives in everyone who trusts in Jesus, giving new life, comfort, and power to love God and neighbor.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is God's word, trustworthy and true, given to lead us to Christ and to teach us how to live.
The Church
We believe in one holy universal Church, the whole family of God across every nation, tradition, and age, united in Jesus.
The hope
We believe in the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting with God.
How we carry it
- Free, always. No ads, nothing to buy. The Living Bread exists to gather people around Jesus, not to sell anything.
- For the whole body of Christ. Every believer, every tradition, and every nation is welcome.
- Privacy first. You control what you share; nothing sensitive is ever made public without your choice.
- Christ at the center. Everything here, prayer, Scripture, community, and service, points to Him.
