A Bible reading plan for
Teenagers
7 days, real and relatable
Being a teenager is a lot: pressure, comparison, big questions, and figuring out who you are. This seven-day plan meets you there with Scripture on identity, courage, and purpose, and with young people in the Bible whom God used mightily. You are not too young for God to work in and through your life right now.
“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”1 Timothy 4:12 (KJV)
The plan, day by day
Day 1
Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example. Your age is not a disqualification; God uses young people.
Day 2
I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your worth is not up for a vote. God made you on purpose.
Day 3
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. Wisdom for the choices ahead.
Day 4
A teenager in a foreign land who quietly decided not to compromise, and God honored it. Small stands matter.
Day 5
Young David faces Goliath with confidence, not in himself, but in God. Courage comes from who is with you.
Day 6
Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed. You do not have to be shaped by the crowd.
Day 7
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Real strength for real pressure comes from Him.
A reading plan is a servant, not a master. If you miss days there is no guilt here and no scorecard in heaven. Simply begin again where you left off. The goal was never to finish a list but to meet the One these words are about, Jesus, who is glad to be found by you today.
Where this plan is leading
Jesus is the one place your identity is completely safe. You do not have to earn your worth through likes, grades, looks, or the crowd's approval. In Christ you are already fully known and fully loved, and He has a purpose for your life that no one else can fill. Following Him now, while young, sets the whole direction of your life.

Why should a teenager read the Bible?
Because the pressures, questions, and choices of the teen years are exactly what the Bible speaks to, and because building a friendship with God now shapes the whole direction of your life. 1 Timothy 4:12 says do not let anyone look down on your youth; God uses young people, and He wants to know you now.
What Bible stories are good for teens?
Young David facing Goliath (1 Samuel 17), Daniel and his friends refusing to compromise (Daniel 1), Mary's faith (Luke 1), and Timothy, whom Paul encouraged despite his youth, all show God working through young people.
