A Bible reading plan for
Proverbs in 31 Days
31 days, one chapter a day
Proverbs has 31 chapters, almost exactly a month, which makes it perfect for a chapter a day matching the date. This plan walks you through the Bible's book of practical wisdom, one short chapter each day, soaking your words, work, money, and relationships in the wisdom that begins with the fear of the Lord.
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”Proverbs 1:7 (KJV)

A reading plan is a servant, not a master. If you miss days there is no guilt here and no scorecard in heaven. Simply begin again where you left off. The goal was never to finish a list but to meet the One these words are about, Jesus, who is glad to be found by you today.
Where this plan is leading
Proverbs says wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord, and the New Testament tells us that wisdom finally has a name: Jesus Christ, in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom. Read Proverbs not just for good advice but to be led to Him, the wisdom of God, who alone can make you truly wise and whom you can never outgrow.

How do you read Proverbs in a month?
Read the chapter that matches the day of the month: chapter 1 on the first, chapter 15 on the fifteenth, and so on through all 31 chapters. It takes only a few minutes a day, and over a year you can read all of Proverbs a dozen times, letting its wisdom sink deep.
Why read a chapter of Proverbs every day?
Because wisdom is not information to gather once but a way of living that has to be practiced. A daily chapter keeps God's practical wisdom, about your tongue, temper, work, money, and friendships, in front of you, shaping ordinary decisions. Many mature believers keep a daily Proverb as a lifelong habit.
What if the month has fewer than 31 days?
On a 30-day month, you can read chapters 30 and 31 together on the last day, and in February simply adjust or double up at the end. The point is the daily rhythm, not a rigid rule; the plan serves you, not the other way around.
