Bible verse
Psalm 30:5

“For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”
What it means
Grief feels endless in the dark, but this verse dares to measure it: sorrow lodges for a night, gladness arrives with the dawn. God's displeasure is brief, His favor a lifetime long. This is the very shape of the gospel, where the cross gave way to an empty tomb and Friday's weeping broke into Sunday's joy. Whatever night you are keeping, it has a morning. The One who rose is bringing light you cannot yet see, and He is faithful to keep His word.
Read it, pray it, live it
On The Living Bread you can read the whole chapter, save this verse, ask Simon to explain it, pray it over your life, and share it with someone who needs it today.
