Bible verse
Psalm 19:14

“Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.”
What it means
This is a prayer for the whole inner life, that even our unspoken thoughts and offhand words would be pleasing to God. It names Him strength and redeemer, the One who both holds us and buys us back when we fail. We cannot polish our own hearts into acceptance, but Christ our Redeemer makes our stammering words welcome before the Father. Pray this before you speak, and let the Lord who saved you also school your tongue and quiet your mind.
Read it, pray it, live it
On The Living Bread you can read the whole chapter, save this verse, ask Simon to explain it, pray it over your life, and share it with someone who needs it today.
