Psalm 34:17
“The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.”
What it means
The Lord is not distant when His people cry out. He bends to listen, and He acts to rescue them from every trouble. This is the tender attentiveness of a Father, not a God who tolerates our prayers but One who leans toward the broken. In Christ that nearness took flesh and drew close to the suffering and the outcast. When you are overwhelmed, you are not shouting into an empty sky. He hears, He remembers, and in His time He delivers.
