Bible verse
Psalm 37:4

“Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.”
What it means
This is not a formula for getting what you want, it is something gentler and deeper. When your delight is in God Himself, He begins to reshape what your heart most wants, until His desires and yours grow into one. The promise is not a vending machine but a friendship that changes you. In Christ we find the treasure worth wanting above all others, and the closer we walk with Him the more our longings come home. Delight leads, and the desires follow.

Questions people ask
Where do I find Psalm 37:4?
It is in Psalm, in Psalm 37. Reading the whole chapter shows who is speaking, to whom, and why.
How can I pray Psalm 37:4?
Read it slowly once, then say it back to God in your own words, one phrase at a time. Stop on the phrase that stays with you and stay there. You can also ask the family of God on The Living Bread to pray it with you.
Pray this
Lord Christ, you love the people of Psalm 37:4 more than we can. We bring you Psalm 37:4, joy. Teach us to love one another, as you have loved us. In the name of Jesus, amen.
