Bible verse
Isaiah 40:31

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
What it means
When we run out of our own resources, God offers His. To wait on Him is not idle sitting but a hopeful leaning, trading our exhaustion for His endurance. The picture is an eagle riding the wind rather than beating its wings against it. Real life wears us thin, yet those who keep turning back to the Lord find a strength that is given, not earned. In Christ this waiting becomes trust in the One who carries us, so we can rise, run, and walk without collapsing.
Read it, pray it, live it
On The Living Bread you can read the whole chapter, save this verse, ask Simon to explain it, pray it over your life, and share it with someone who needs it today.
