Bible verse
Romans 15:4

“For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.”
What it means
The Scriptures were not written to bury us in rules but to fill us with hope. Everything recorded long ago teaches us endurance and comfort, so that we might keep believing through hard seasons. Page after page shows a faithful God keeping His promises to broken people, all pointing forward to Jesus. When your hope runs thin, return to the Word. There you meet the Savior who never fails, and His story steadies your own. The God who spoke through Scripture still speaks encouragement to weary hearts today.
Read it, pray it, live it
On The Living Bread you can read the whole chapter, save this verse, ask Simon to explain it, pray it over your life, and share it with someone who needs it today.
