“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”
What it means
Because Christ has conquered death, Paul urges us to stand firm and give ourselves fully to the Lord's work. Nothing done for Jesus is ever wasted, even when the results are hidden or slow.
