Bible verse

Colossians 3:23

Colossians 3:23

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;”

Colossians 3:23 (King James Version (public domain))

What it means

Even ordinary tasks become sacred when we do them for the Lord. Rather than working to impress people or dragging through the day for a paycheck, we can pour ourselves in wholeheartedly, as if serving Christ Himself. This lifts the humblest job into an act of worship. Jesus sees every effort offered to Him, and He is the reward we ultimately serve. Whatever fills your hands today, do it with your whole heart for Him, and the routine becomes a place where His grace and your gratitude meet.
