Bible verse
2 Corinthians 1:3

“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;”
What it means
God is named here as the Father of mercies and the source of all comfort. He does not stand distant from our pain; He draws near to the hurting with tenderness. Whatever affliction you carry, He is the God who meets you in it, and the comfort He gives is meant to overflow to others who suffer. This mercy is not abstract, for it comes to us through Jesus, who wept, who bled, and who understands. When sorrow presses hard, turn to the Father whose very nature is compassion toward His weary children.
Read it, pray it, live it
