Bible verse

Psalm 138:8

Psalm 138:8

“The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.”

Psalm 138:8 (King James Version (public domain))

What it means

The Lord will finish what concerns you; He does not abandon the work of His own hands. This is quiet assurance for anyone who feels half-made or afraid of being forgotten. God's mercy endures, and His purpose for your life outlasts your stumbling. In Christ that promise is sealed, for the One who began a good work in you is committed to completing it. You are not a project He will set down. He will carry His purpose through to the very end.
