Bible verse

Psalm 133:1

Psalm 133:1

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”

Psalm 133:1 (King James Version (public domain))

What it means

There is something genuinely lovely, the psalm says, when God's people live together in real unity. It is rare enough to be worth naming and rich enough to feel like blessing poured out. Unity is not sameness but a shared belonging under one Lord. Jesus prayed that His people would be one, so that the world might believe. When we choose peace over pride and welcome over division, we make visible the family Christ died to gather. Guard that gift; it is more precious than we know.
