Bible verse

Psalm 119:11

Psalm 119:11

“Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”

Psalm 119:11 (King James Version (public domain))

What it means

The writer hides God's word deep inside, not as decoration but as defense, so that when temptation comes he is already armed. What we treasure in the heart shapes what we do under pressure. Jesus met His own testing in the wilderness by answering with Scripture He carried within. When the word lives in you, it speaks in the moment you most need it. Store it now, quietly, and it will guard you later when your own strength is not enough.
