Bible verse

Psalm 37:5

Psalm 37:5

“Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”

Psalm 37:5 (King James Version (public domain))

What it means

To commit your way is to hand God the whole road, not just the crisis, and then to actually trust Him with it. The verse pairs surrender with confidence: give it over, and lean on His faithfulness to act. We are not told when or how, only that He will. In Christ we learn that the Father can be trusted even when the path bends into shadow. Release your grip on the outcome today, and let the One who loves you carry what you cannot.
