Broken bread and a cup glowing in warm sacred light.

Bible verse

Psalm 27:14

Psalm 27:14

“Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.”

Psalm 27:14 (King James Version (public domain))

What it means

Waiting can feel like weakness, but here it becomes an act of courage. To keep hoping when nothing has changed yet is not passivity; it is trust with its face turned toward God. The heart is told to be strong precisely because the wait is hard. Jesus waited too, all the way to a cross and an empty tomb, and He proves that God is never late. Your season of holding on is not wasted. Take heart, and keep looking up.
