“Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.”
What it means
The soul waits in silence, resting on God alone as the source of rescue. This is not passive resignation but a settled quiet that stops striving and looks to Him. Salvation comes from the Lord, not from our frantic fixing. Jesus is that salvation, the still center where a restless heart finally learns to breathe. When the noise of worry rises, you can return here, letting your soul grow quiet before the God who alone can save. Wait on Him, and let the striving fall silent.
