Father, I am at a crossroads, and I do not know which way to go. I have weighed it and worried it and I still cannot see clearly. So I stop trying to figure it all out on my own and I ask You to lead me. I choose to trust You with all my heart, and to lean not on my own understanding, which has taken me only this far. In this decision, and in all my ways, I acknowledge You; direct my paths. Make the next step plain, even if You do not show me the whole road at once. Guard me from wandering off in fear or impatience. When I am about to turn the wrong way, let me hear Your voice behind me saying, this is the way, walk in it. Quiet the other voices, my own included, so I can follow Yours. Lead me, and give me the trust to go where You point. In the name of Jesus, amen.
