Success is not promised on a timeline, and hard seasons are not a sign of God's absence. Ask Him to provide what is truly needed, to keep you faithful in how you get there, and to guard your heart from making the business itself your god.
How do I pray when I might have to lay people off?
Bring the weight of it honestly to God; He does not flinch from hard decisions. Ask for wisdom to see every option, for provision that might make the cut unnecessary, and for compassion in how you treat each person affected. Pray for them by name, for their next job and their family's security.
