Bible verse
Luke 11:9

“And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”
What it means
Jesus encourages us to keep coming to God with persistence and hope. Ask, seek, knock; these are the words of a Father who wants His children to draw near, not to bang on a closed door. Prayer is not wringing gifts from a reluctant God but growing in relationship with a loving one. Even when answers are slow, we keep asking because He is good. Jesus Himself makes the way open to the Father, so we approach not as strangers but as beloved children welcomed home.
Read it, pray it, live it
On The Living Bread you can read the whole chapter, save this verse, ask Simon to explain it, pray it over your life, and share it with someone who needs it today.
