“Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.”
What it means
Jesus gives us a simple compass for every relationship: treat others the way you long to be treated. Instead of keeping score or waiting for people to earn kindness, we take the first step in mercy, honesty, and care. This is the heart of everything God asks. And Jesus does not merely teach it; He lived it perfectly, loving us before we loved Him. As we walk with Him, His Spirit reshapes our instincts until putting others first becomes the natural rhythm of a heart made new.
