Bible verse

Matthew 18:20

Matthew 18:20

“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”

Matthew 18:20 (King James Version (public domain))

What it means

Jesus promises that even the smallest gathering in His name carries His presence. You do not need a crowd or a grand building for Him to be near; two or three hearts turned toward Him are enough. This is a gift for the discouraged and the few, a reminder that Christ is not distant but present wherever His people seek Him together. In prayer, in agreement, in quiet fellowship, He stands among us. Our togetherness matters because He Himself fills the room.
