Bible verse
Matthew 11:29

“Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.”
What it means
Jesus offers us His yoke, an image of walking closely beside Him as He carries the weight. He describes Himself as gentle and humble, the kind of teacher who will never crush the weary. Coming under His guidance is not more pressure but deep relief, a settled quiet for the soul. Instead of striving to prove ourselves, we learn His unhurried pace and let Him lead. Rest is found not in escaping our burdens alone but in shouldering them next to the gentle Savior.
Read it, pray it, live it
On The Living Bread you can read the whole chapter, save this verse, ask Simon to explain it, pray it over your life, and share it with someone who needs it today.
