Bible verse

Isaiah 26:3

Isaiah 26:3

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”

Isaiah 26:3 (King James Version (public domain))

What it means

Peace here is tied to where the mind rests. When our thoughts keep circling back to God rather than to every worst case, He holds us steady, even complete, in the storm. This is not denial of trouble but a settled trust that anchors us to Someone unshakable. Our minds wander easily, so the invitation is to keep returning our attention to Him. In Jesus we have a peace the world cannot give and cannot take, a quiet that guards the heart when everything around us shakes.
