Micah 6:8
“He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?”
What it means
God cuts through religious performance to name what He actually wants from us: fair dealing, tender mercy, and a humble walk beside Him. It is beautifully simple and deeply demanding, touching how we treat the weak, how we forgive, and how we hold our own pride. None of us does this perfectly, which is why we need the One who lived it flawlessly. Jesus embodied justice, mercy, and humility, and by His Spirit He begins to shape that same life in ordinary people like us.
