The Unforgiving Servant

A servant forgiven a fortune he could never repay leaves the king and throttles a fellow servant over a tiny debt, throwing him in prison. When the king hears, he delivers the unforgiving servant to the same fate.
What it means
We have been forgiven a debt we could never pay. To hold a grudge after that is to forget the mercy we stand on. Forgiveness is not optional for the forgiven; it is the shape their new life takes.
