The Rich Fool

A rich man's land yields so much that he tears down his barns to build bigger ones, telling his soul to relax, eat, and be merry. That very night his life is required of him, and his hoard passes to another.
What it means
Jesus warns against a life measured by what we store rather than who we are before God. Security built on possessions is an illusion; the only wealth that outlasts us is being rich toward God.
