The Fruit of the Spirit: Love

The first fruit and the root of all the rest, this is agape, love that gives itself for the good of another, even an enemy. It is not first a feeling but a laying-down, the love God showed at the cross. As we abide in Christ, His love begins to flow through us toward people we could not love on our own.
How it grows
