The Fruit of the Spirit: Kindness

Galatians 5:22 · King James Version (public domain)

Kindness is love made practical, the gentleness that notices need and does something about it. It is how God draws us, His kindness leading us to repentance, not His harshness. The Spirit makes us tender-handed toward the hurting and the undeserving alike.

How it grows

Fruit is grown, not forced. It appears as we stay joined to Jesus like a branch to the vine. Read Galatians 5:22 on The Living Bread, ask Simon how to grow in kindness, and ask the Spirit for it today. You are welcome exactly as you are.
