The Fruit of the Spirit: Goodness

Galatians 5:22 · King James Version (public domain)

Goodness is integrity that overflows into generous action, being genuinely good all the way through. It is not mere niceness but a moral beauty that reflects the God who is good and does good. The Spirit shapes lives that are trustworthy in the dark and openhanded in the light.

How it grows

Fruit is grown, not forced. It appears as we stay joined to Jesus like a branch to the vine. Read Galatians 5:22 on The Living Bread, ask Simon how to grow in goodness, and ask the Spirit for it today. You are welcome exactly as you are.
