“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
What it means
The gate is wide open: anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Not the impressive, not the deserving, not those with a clean record, but whoever cries out to Jesus in trust. There is no fine print, no waiting list, no favoritism. The same Lord is rich toward all who call. If you feel unqualified, that is exactly who this promise is for. Turn your heart to Christ and ask, and the God who kept this promise for countless others will save you too.
