Bible verse

Lamentations 3:23

Lamentations 3:23

“They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”

Lamentations 3:23 (King James Version (public domain))

What it means

Even written amid ruin, these words insist that God's mercies arrive fresh with every sunrise. Yesterday's failures do not use up His kindness; His faithfulness is renewed while we sleep. This is hope for anyone weary of their own repeated stumbling. The cross secures it, for in Christ the well of mercy never runs dry. Whatever the last day held, morning brings grace enough for this one. Rise into it, trusting that His compassion has not run out and never will.
