Bible verse

Romans 8:1

Romans 8:1

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

Romans 8:1 (King James Version (public domain))

What it means

For everyone who belongs to Jesus, the sentence of guilt has been lifted. There is no lingering condemnation, no hidden verdict waiting to fall, because Christ already bore your judgment at the cross. The accusing voice that says you are too far gone has no legal standing before God. You are not living to earn acceptance; you live from acceptance already given. Rest here when shame presses in. The One who died for you now stands in your place, and His word over you is not guilty but beloved.
