Bible verse

Deuteronomy 6:5

Deuteronomy 6:5

“And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.”

Deuteronomy 6:5 (King James Version (public domain))

What it means

We are called to love God with everything: heart, soul, and strength, holding nothing back. This is the great center of a faithful life, the affection from which all obedience flows. Such wholehearted love is not a burden but the truest joy we were made for. We cannot conjure it alone, yet because He first loved us in Christ, our hearts are drawn to answer. Jesus named this the greatest command, and He also makes it possible. Let His love kindle yours.
