1 Corinthians 10:13
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
What it means
Whatever pulls at you is not unique or unbeatable. Others have faced it and found the door out. Paul anchors our courage not in our willpower but in God's faithfulness. He will not let the pressure exceed what you can bear, and He always provides a way through. Christ Himself was tempted and did not fall, and now He stands with the tempted. When you feel cornered, look for the escape God has already prepared, and lean on the One who overcame.
