A Prayer for My Coworkers
You may spend more waking hours with your coworkers than with almost anyone else. They are the ones beside you in the daily grind, the small talk by the coffee machine, the shared deadlines and inside jokes, and sometimes the friction that makes the day heavy. Praying for the people you work alongside changes the atmosphere, first in your own heart, and often in ways that ripple outward. Father, I lift up the people I work with each day. You know each of them, their pressures, their private worries, the loads they carry that never show up in a meeting. Bless them. Give them strength for their work and peace in their homes. Where there is tension between us, help me to be a peacemaker, kind and patient and quick to forgive. Let me do my work well and honestly, as unto You. Make our workplace a little more human because of Your Spirit in me, and let whatever good I do point beyond me to You. Meet each of my coworkers where they are, and draw them toward Your love. In the name of Jesus, amen.

He said the light of a good life would draw others to God.
