Who Was the Apostle Paul?
In short
Paul, once called Saul, began as a fierce persecutor of Christians, until the risen Jesus met him on the road to Damascus and changed his life completely.
He became the greatest missionary of the early church and wrote much of the New Testament. His letters, Romans, Corinthians, Philippians and more, still teach and encourage believers today.
“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”
