Who Was Abraham?

In short

Abraham is called the father of faith. God called him to leave his home for a land he had never seen, and promised to make him into a great nation and to bless the whole world through his family.

He believed God's promise even when it seemed impossible, and that faith was counted to him as righteousness, a pattern for all who trust God.

“And he believed in the Lord; and he counted it to him for righteousness.”
