Who Was Joshua?
In short
Joshua was Moses' faithful assistant who became his successor, leading Israel across the Jordan River into the Promised Land. He is remembered for the fall of Jericho and for his unwavering courage.
His famous charge still rings out: 'Choose you this day whom ye will serve... but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.'
