What Does the Bible Say About Temptation?
The Bible promises that no temptation is beyond escape: God is faithful, provides a way out, and gives strength to those who run to Him.
Temptation itself is not sin; even Jesus was tempted, yet without sin. The Bible teaches us to flee temptation, to fill our minds with Scripture, and to lean on God's Spirit rather than our willpower.
God does not leave us to fight alone. He promises to make a way of escape, and He offers grace when we fall. The path to freedom is not shame but running quickly back to Him.

How this points to Jesus
Jesus faced every kind of temptation in the wilderness and overcame, so that He can help those who are tempted. He is not a distant judge but a sympathetic high priest who has walked our path. When temptation presses in, we can come boldly to Him and find grace to help in time of need.
