What Does the Bible Say About Work?
The Bible gives dignity to work, calling us to labor with integrity and excellence as unto the Lord, whatever our job may be.
Work is not a curse but part of how God made us; even in Eden there was work to do. Scripture calls us to do everything heartily, as for the Lord and not for people, so that even ordinary labor becomes worship.
God cares about how we work, not only what we produce, honestly, diligently, and kindly. Faithfulness in small, unseen tasks is precious to Him, and He can use any honest work to provide for others and reflect His character.

How this points to Jesus
Jesus worked as a carpenter for most of His life, hallowing ordinary labor. He calls us to work not to earn our worth, which He has already secured, but to serve God and love our neighbors. In Him, no honest work is meaningless; it is a place to reflect the Maker who works still.
