What Does the Bible Say About Prayer?
The Bible invites us to pray about everything, promising that God hears, cares, and answers, and that prayer is less about eloquence than about honest relationship.
Prayer is simply talking with God, and Scripture urges us to pray without ceasing and to bring every need to Him. We do not need the right words; we need only to come.
The Bible promises that God hears our prayers and delights to answer, sometimes with yes, sometimes with something better than we asked. Jesus taught us to pray boldly, persistently, and as children to a good Father.

How this points to Jesus
Jesus prayed constantly and taught His followers to pray, opening the way for us to call God our Father. Because of His cross we can come boldly to the throne of grace, and because He lives He intercedes for us still. Prayer is not shouting into the void; it is speaking to a Father who is always listening.
