What Does the Bible Say About Anxiety?
The Bible does not scold the anxious heart; it invites you to hand every worry to God, who cares for you and gives a peace that guards your mind.
Scripture takes anxiety seriously and answers it with tenderness. Again and again God says, do not be afraid, for I am with you. He does not ask you to pretend the fear away, but to bring it to Him in prayer and to trust that He is holding what you cannot.
Anxiety often grows when we carry tomorrow's weight today. Jesus teaches us to live one day at a time, trusting the Father who feeds the birds and clothes the fields to care for us far more.

How this points to Jesus
Jesus is called the Prince of Peace, and He does not merely tell us not to worry, He gives us Himself. On the cross He carried the deepest fear so that we could be reconciled to God, and in His resurrection He proves that the worst thing is never the last thing. When anxiety rises, you can run to Him.
