God’s promises
God’s Promises for Heaven
God promises heaven to His people, an eternal home in His presence, where He wipes away every tear and death is no more.
Jesus promised to prepare a place for His followers and to bring them there. Heaven is God's sure promise to all who trust Him.
He promises an end to death, sorrow, and pain, and a joy that eye has not seen. The best is truly yet to come.

“In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

How this points to Jesus
Jesus is the way to heaven and has gone ahead to prepare a place for us. Every promise of heaven is yes in Him, who opened its door by His death and resurrection. Heaven is not earned but given, the sure inheritance of all who belong to Christ.
