Bible verse

Philippians 1:6

Philippians 1:6

“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”

Philippians 1:6 (King James Version (public domain))

What it means

The work of transformation in your life is not finally yours to finish; it is God's. He began a good work in you, and He is faithful to carry it through to completion. Your stumbles and slow seasons do not cancel His commitment. What He starts, He completes, all the way to the day of Christ. This frees you from the crushing weight of self-improvement and lets you rest in a Savior who holds you fast. Keep walking with Him, confident that His grace will see you home.
