Bible verse

Hebrews 4:16

Hebrews 4:16

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

Hebrews 4:16 (King James Version (public domain))

What it means

We do not have to shrink back from God, wondering if we are welcome. Because Jesus is our great high priest, we can come to the throne of grace with confidence, especially in our weakest moments. There we find mercy for our failures and grace to help right when we need it. No appointment, no perfection required; the way is open through Christ. Whatever you are facing, run to Him rather than away. The throne that could have condemned you now offers a Father's welcome and everything you need.
