What does it mean to be born again?
In short
To be born again is to receive new spiritual life from God, a fresh start and a new heart. Jesus told a religious leader, 'Ye must be born again.'
It happens not by our own effort but by God's Spirit, when we turn to Christ and trust Him. It is a beginning available to anyone.
“Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
